Silva Trucking was started in 1943 by Manuel Silva Jr. He hauled agricultural products from his ranch on Roberts Island just west of Stockton. Today, Silva Trucking and Stockton Ag Transport operate 90 trucks and 175 trailers from their terminal in French Camp, California. Stockton Ag Transport also has a terminal in Modesto, California. Silva Trucking continues to haul a variety of agricultural products (Grains, Grapes, Safflower, Peaches, Pears, Almonds and Walnuts) as well as Molten Sulfur in tank trailers, bulk sand and cullet in hoppers and various other bulk commodities. Flatbed service is also provided. Stockton Ag Transport hauls a variety of products in containers that are imported or exported through the Port of Oakland. Both companies operate a modern fleet of CARB and Drayage compliant trucks.
